Columbia Basin Herald is a subsidiary of The Hagadone Corporation, which owns and operates a diverse group of companies mainly in the publishing, newspaper and hospitality industries. The company s hospitality operations include lodging, restaurants, golf clubs, spas and convention centers. It operates the Coeur d Alene Resort, the Kootenai River Inn and a variety of restaurants, such as Cedars Floating Restaurant, Bonsai Bistro, Tito's Italian, Dock Side, Beachouse and Beverly's. It operates newspapers in Idaho, Montana, Washington and Wisconsin, including the Coeur d'Alene Press, The Western News, Mineral Independent, Basin Business Journal Farm News and Beloit Business Journal. The company owns two publishing companies in Hawaii, Hagadone Printing and This Week Magazine, two in Idaho, Blue541 and Quicksilver Photography, and one directory, The Black Book. It also provides property management services for Lake Villa and Mountain Villa apartments. Columbia Basin Herald maintains a location in Moses Lake, Wash.
