YFA Connections, founded in 1969 and based in Spokane, Wash., is a private independent nonprofit agency that provides counseling and treatment programs to the people of the area. The agency aims to provide prevention, intervention, education, and treatment services to youth, adults, and families experiencing conflict or crisis. YFA was founded by a group of local citizens concerned with the growing involvement of the youth with illegal and addictive drugs.
