History
Hood Canal Adventures was established in 2007 by Fisheries and Marine Biologist Christine Maloney. After a 12 year career in Fisheries, Christine decided to move to Brinnon to start this kayak rental and eco-tourism company and provide people a relaxing way to experience the Hood Canal's impressive beauty and bountiful wildlife. The kayak launch is located at Yelvik's Beach (251 Hjelvicks Rd. & Hwy. 101) just south of Yelvik's General Store. Our outdoor outfitter shop and office is located at 306146 Hwy 101 in Brinnon.
Specialties
Hood Canal Adventures, formerly Kayak Brinnon, specializes in family friendly kayaking and wildlife tours. Our outdoor outfitters shop, BASECAMP, offers hiking, shellfishing and camping gear and provides visitor information on local waterfalls, hiking trails and camping spots. We also deliver kayaks to the USFS's Seal Rock Campground and other locations around the Hood Canal. SUP's, multi-day rentals, kayak delivery, child seats, and kayak sized crab pots are also available.
