Hopunion LLC

Hopunion LLC is a facility with six cold storage warehouses totaling approximately 60, 000 square feet. We have a seventh warehouse that contains our pelletizing operation and where we do small whole hop packaging. Our main function is to serve the small or craft-brew section of the brewing industry with the best products possible. We pelletize most of our hops, but do have a partnership with Yakima Chief and they do pelletize a portion of our hops. This comes in very handy in the Fall, when demand is high. We run our pellets very carefully, paying lots of attention to keeping a pristine oil profile. This can only be done, by running slowly and keeping the pellets cold. We use nitrogen in our process to help accomplish this goal. As a result, we consider our pellets to be the best out there. Our packaging sizes are 11 lb and 44 lb boxes. Regarding our whole hop packaging operation, hops come into our warehouse weighing about 200 pounds each. We can sell them in these 200 lb bales or break them down into 13 lb and 50 lb sizes. We do a nitrogen flush and a vacuum seal and put the product into boxes in these smaller sizes. While we don't have an extract facility, we do buy our products from good suppliers. We carry a variety of Hop Oils, Extracts, Isohop and other downstream products.
