Island Montessori

History

Island Children's Montessori School started as Children's Montessori back in the late 1970's, located in the Port Madison Lutheran Church. In the late 1990's Joan Gillanders took over as our school director. Our current staff of teachers have been working together since 2004. We moved to our current location in 2013

Specialties

Here at ICMS, we strive to provide a warm, engaging environment that encourages a child's natural curiosity and cultivates a natural, life-long love of learning. Our small class size and low student to teacher ratio allows us to provide a program that focuses on the development of each child at their own individual pace. Our classroom serves children from ages 2 1/2 to 5 years of age.
