About OSC OSC was founded in 1981. Our philosophy from inception has been to exercise the highest ethical standards in providing rehabilitation and related services to governmental agencies, employers, insurers and the Northwest legal community. Our home office is located in the historic Webster House located in Bothell Washington. Over the years we have experienced slow, steady and controlled growth. We now are in 9 locations throughout Washington State with 50 plus employees. We strive to provide our staff the opportunity to grow professionally and to experience financial reward. Our staff stays active in the field through membership and participation in many professional organizations and publishing in professional journals. In 1981, our referral base consisted of cases from the Washington State Department of Labor Industries and Division of Vocational Rehabilitation Early on, as a private sector company, we realized that we were vulnerable to possible legislative changes disseminated by these agencies. We undertook concerted effort to diversify our practice into other areas. 22 years later we believe that we are the most diverse private rehabilitation counseling company in the northwest region. Our referral base now consists of on-going work from the Washington State Department of Labor and Industries, the Department of Veterans Affairs, a number of self insured employers throughout the state of Washington and workers compensation referrals from the states of California and Alaska. We also do a significant amount of work under a variety of federal worker compensation programs including the Longshore Harbor Workers Act, Federal Employee Liability Act and Jones Act. The hands on rehabilitation work we do provides a firm foundation for the forensic referrals we receive from both plaintiff and defense attorneys. In all cases we strive to provide objective, high quality, cost efficient and results oriented rehabilitation service.
