Robert Palmer, DO

My clinical focus is to individualize orthopedic and sports medicine care. I enjoy getting to know my patients and spending time with them to discuss their goals before determining the most appropriate treatment strategy to keep them functional and pain-free. I treat injuries such as ligament and tendon tears, fractures, joint instability, and cartilage damage. I have a particular interest in minimally invasive joint preservation surgeries for the shoulder, elbow, knee, and ankle.

In addition to general gastroenterology, I have a special interest in colon cancer screening and inflammatory bowel disease. I believe in partnering with my patients. I listen carefully and then explain the testing and treatment options clearly, so patients can make the best possible choices for their health and know what to expect after each visit.

I have a special interest in Endoscopic Ultrasound, a specialized procedure that is used to study internal organs including the pancreas, gallbladder and the liver. I value a patient's autonomy in making healthcare decisions. To this end, I explain my recommendations and all treatment and testing options available in detail, so patients can make an informed decision.
