Unity Center of North Spokane

Touching hearts, transforming lives. We are a growing congregation of over 100 people. As a pioneer church center in the Unity Movement we are focused on a faith based ministry of prayer, inspiration, metaphysical study, community, joy and meditation all wrapped in a dedication to Love. As we find our place in our Spokane community we also recognize and connect with our greater Earth community in finding ways to facilitate peace through Love and understanding. HISTORYOur first service was at Mead High School in 1993. We moved to Fairwood Shopping Center 6 weeks later and stayed until 1997. Planning on starting a building program, we moved to the Inland Northwest Wildlife Council Building and rented office space across from Northtown Shopping Center. We bought 10 acres in 1999 and began a campaign to build our new home. We decided to build a dome which we purchased from Oregon Dome. The dome raising occurred in September of 2003. Our beautiful Center is now grounded and growing. We are in the process of landscaping and finishing the furnishing of the interior spaces. Over two years have now passed since occupying our new center. We are home!CHILDREN Sunday school meets during service. We have a handful of dedicated teachers and an awesome Youth Education director, Kelley Aronson. Y.O.U. (Youth Of Unity) attend service and go out for hot chocolate alternately and do service projects as they can. Our vision is to have an abundance of spirit led teachers guiding our children in the awareness and use of the positive principles we believe in at Unity. SUNDAY MORNINGSWe gather at 9 and 11am for a delightful mix of singing, meditation, meaningful messages and inspiring music. After the service is a social time of refreshments with hugs, smiles and sharing. We are growing and evolving with a healthy mix of trial, error, guidance, and prayer. Join us and let us grow together.
