Valley Medical Center, formerly known as Renton Hospital, is one of the oldest and largest public district hospitals and nonprofit healthcare providers in Washington, D.C. Founded in 1945, the hospital serves more than 400,000 and operates a network of over 10 community clinics throughout King County in the state of Washington, D.C. It provides specialized treatment in cardiology, oncology, obstetrics, orthopedics, neonatal, cancer and neurology. Valley Medical Center operates ambulatory treatment unit, diabetes center and headache clinic. It offers imaging, respiratory, outpatient, pediatrics, general surgery, joint replacement, heart and vascular, and psychiatry and counseling services. The hospital also provides ophthalmology, psychological, rheumatology and rehabilitative services.
