The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office is one of the chief public agencies in Ohio that works towards preserving peace, order and safety; enforcing laws and ordinances; and safeguarding constitutional rights. It maintains detectives, school resources, road deputies, jail and special response team divisions. The office also provides online crime statistics and incident reporting applications. The Jefferson County Sheriff s Office provides statistical data and victim notifications.
