We are all experienced teachers and aides who have decided that child care is our chosen career. We have been trained to know the developmental stages and milestones of children and respond appropriately. We truly care about your child and the interactions they have at daycare with adults and other children. Our primary goal is to make daycare a positive experience for your child. Safety, sanitation, establishing good habits, and learning new skills are areas important to us when caring for your child. We will respond to your concerns in a timely manner. And if we don't, we fully support you in contacting our Director. Kiwanis Day Care Center is deeply committed to providing children with a loving and safe environment in which children can learn and grow. Our program is designed to provide the community with quality and affordable child care and development with an emphasis on physical, social, emotional and intellectual growth activities and experiences. The children will be exposed to activities that will foster skills in the following areas: gross motor, fine motor, cognitive, social/emotional and other various areas that will build knowledge, attain skill, and foster a positive self image and confidence. Additionally each child will be developmentally assessed at specific milestones to evaluate their progress. Our goal is to motivate and teach your child to share, take turns, get along with others, follow directions in both small and large groups, and feel free to express their own creativity and opinions, try new things without feeling any discomfort and feel good about one 's self.
