The Cape Fear Guardian ad Litem Association (CFGALA) is a non-profit organization based in Wilmington, NC, dedicated to improving the lives of children in New Hanover and Pender counties who have been victims of abuse and neglect. With the support of local foundations, businesses, and individual donors, CFGALA has raised over $1 million in the past 19 years to provide these children with opportunities and experiences that help them thrive and create happy memories. Every dollar donated goes directly to fulfilling the dreams of these children, with the help of their court-appointed Guardian ad Litem. CFGALA believes that summer camps, music lessons, sports teams, and academic tutoring are essential for creating strong and resilient children.
