History
In the 1940s, Beach Harbor Resort (then known as Shorewood) was a thriving, well-known place to stay. When Shorewood closed, the property was left vacant until 2003 when Patti and Jon bought the motel. Patti and Jon renovated and restored the resort to run it as a family owned and operated motel. Very, very moderately priced, clean rooms if you want the Ritz stay at the Ritz did I mention this is not the Ritz... It is a nice basic motel with a nice bar and restaurant on the property great...

While Door County hotels are rarely fully upgraded and Beach Harbor is no different, it is a comfortable and affordable place to rest your head for a few nights in between all of the awesome Door...

We actually rented the three bedroom house that they have available through VRBO. The location of both the house and the resort are fabulous! The house is located just feet away from the water....
