In the 1940s, Beach Harbor Resort (then known as Shorewood) was a thriving, well-known place to stay. When Shorewood closed, the property was left vacant until 2003 when Patti and Jon bought the motel. Patti and Jon renovated and restored the resort to run it as a family owned and operated motel. We actually rented the three bedroom house that they have available through VRBO. The location of both the house and the resort are fabulous! The house is located just feet away from the water....
