As Milwaukee’s oldest custard, Gilles Frozen Custard began its 83+ year history of family and frozen custard in 1938. Opened by Paul Gilles, the Stand was purchased by longtime manager Bob Linscott in 1977. Bob ran Gilles’s for 15 years before handing it off to his sons, Tom and Pat. In 2001 Tom became the sole owner and operated it for a number of years. Today Tom is joined by his son Willy who is the general manager and co-owner. Three generations of Linscotts have turned Gilles’s into the iconic custard stand that Milwaukee loves. Enjoy their fantastic frozen custard and only the very best in burgers, sandwiches and sides at their remodeled Stand at its original location.

Really good strawberry custard, great customer service, quite busy at 8pm, service was fast though.
