Laclare Family Creamery

Through a self-guided tour, explore our Visitor Center and learn about LaClare Family Creamery and Saxon Creamery cheeses and our cheesemaking operations. Monday-Friday from 10 am - 4 pm take a behind-the-scenes look at our cheesemaking process, from the viewing windows. We make over 15 different cheeses on-site! Goats are onsite during the late spring/summer months only. Baby goats are available to see year-round. View our 26ft-high goat silo and make your way over to the barn to see the 700 doelings we have onsite! After your tour, stop by the cafe and enjoy one of our delicious sandwiches or a crisp, delectable salad featuring our cheeses. We have expanded our outdoor dining area to allow more guests to stretch out, relax and enjoy a tasty lunch. Don’t forget to save room for a scoop of ice cream. Finish your visit with a purchase of some cheese and wine. We offer a variety of options for cheese, beverages, and unique finds. Cheese samples are available every day!
