Mercy Options Behavioral Health Services

Skaalen Retirement Services, located in Stoughton, Wis., is one of Dane County's largest long-term and rehabilitative care facilities. The center provides a continuum of nursing care, restorative therapy and housing options to more than 800 elderly citizens and their families every year. It is located in an over 100-acre area, and offers rehabilitative and restorative care for long- and short-term residency. The facility offers services, such as respite services, hospice care, and an over 30-bed Alzheimer s disease care unit for families with special needs. The center provides private and semi-private rooms, individual thermostats, cable television and a guest suite featuring private bath, queen-size sofa sleeper, telephone, television, microwave, refrigerator and coffeemaker.
