Oconto County Hwy Commissioner

The Highway Department reconstructs and maintains the County Trunk Highway System. It also provides maintenance services for the State Trunk Highways on a contract basis with the Wisconsin Department of Transportation. The department offers repair, blacktopping, gravel, snow removal and bridge replacement services for townships, cities and villages. In addition, the Highway Department provides general, winter and roadside maintenance services. It offers patching, crack filling and seal coating of pavement, as well as shoulder maintenance and vegetation control services. The department also provides bridge and culvert maintenance, litter pickup, guard rail installation and maintenance, signing, pavement marking and traffic control services. The Highway Department operates storage maintenance and repair facilities throughout Wisconsin. It maintains a location in Oconto, Wis.
