Burkel, founded in 1993, provides custom-made hardwood products ranging from curved wood items to flat wood items. Burkel produces wood musical instrument components for pianos, harps and various percussion instruments such as piano pin planks, drum sticks, harp bows, cello backs, drum shells and musical blocks. It also provides wood for the sporting good industry such as sport paddles, archery handles, gun stocks and parts used in arcade games with multi-colored plies throughout the thickness of the panel as seen in archery handles and gun stocks. The company also provides wood propellers for the aircraft industry. It is headquartered in Oconto Falls, Wis.
