I enjoy the variety of family medicine. In the course of one day, I could treat a sports-related injury, transition to geriatric medicine and then help a patient develop a plan for diabetes management. It’s always something different. Seeing improvement in someone’s mental and physical health is very rewarding. I believe that the most successful outcomes are the result of honest, open communication between the patient and provider. The more I know about you as a person, the better care I can offer.

As your family physician, my goal is to help you understand your whole picture of health and be a resource as you navigate the health care system. I really enjoy forming relationships with my patients and feel blessed to do the kind of work that allows me to care for people of all ages with all types of conditions. I feel that my practical, hands-on experience as a dad enhances my skills as a provider. I am here to offer guidance in choosing the options that make the most sense for your individual health situation. That can mean performing simple in-office procedures to save you the time and expense of specialty care or working together to coordinate the details when specialty treatment is needed.

I love that family medicine allows me the opportunity to simultaneously teach others and learn from them. When it comes to health issues, there are often multiple ways to address a problem. That’s what makes teamwork such an essential part of our relationship. Working together, we can find the solution that is the best fit for you. After living in several states over the years, it’s great to be back home in Wisconsin and practicing in such a wonderful community. My goal is to provide care that helps families lead happier, more fulfilling lives.
