The Speech House - Restaurant

The Speech House Hotel has several dining options for residents and non-residents. The Orangery and pretty adjoining garden is dog and walker friendly - the perfect spot for an informal lunch, afternoon tea orlight supper. There is also a cosy Bar area. The beamed Verderer's Court Room and The Carolean restaurants are for formal à la carte dining. The hotel has one AA rosette and support local suppliers wherever possible. We offer a dedicated Vegetarian and Vegan menu and can cater for all diets and special needs on request. Children's' Menu available. From 3-6pm daily, we offer our full Speech House Afternoon Tea served with silver tea pots, bone china and homemade fancies, as well as our infamous cream teas.
