Moorpark Unified School District

Cypress Elementary School offers educational programs to more than 480 students in kindergarten through grade five. Its syllabus includes English, mathematics, science, language arts and music. The school employs over 25 staff members that include nurses and speech and language therapists. It also maintains a library and media center that stocks books and periodicals. The school organizes parent-teacher meetings that encourage parental involvement in children's education. In addition, it conducts a variety of activities, including fundraising events and a booster club. Cypress Elementary School is located in Newbury Park in Thousand Oaks, Calif. It is a part of the Conejo Valley Unified School District, which owns and operates various elementary, middle and high schools.
