Aurelia C. Holland Wood, M.D., is a pediatric endocrinologist with Norton Childrens Endocrinology, affiliated with the UofL School of Medicine. Dr. Holland Wood earned her medical degree from Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine in Dayton, Ohio. She completed her residency in ambulatory pediatrics at Norton Childrens Hospital, and a fellowship in pediatric endocrinology at Barnes-Jewish Hospital/Washington University, St. Louis, Missouri. She is board certified by the American Board of Pediatrics.Dr. Holland Wood is committed to advancing health services in Type 1 diabetes, promoting health care equity and leading community-rooted efforts to improve chronic disease care. Her clinical practice emphasizes the importance of creating a collaborative team involving the patient, family and medical professionals, all grounded in mutual trust, respect and shared decision-making to ensure safe, evidence-based care.Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, being outdoors hiking, and spending time with her husband and the rest of their family.

Lindsay Carter, APRN, joined Norton Children's in February 2021 as a family nurse practitioner in pediatric dermatology.She graduated from Purdue University Northwest in 2015 with her Bachelor of Science in nursing and then earned her Master of Science in nursing from Loyola University Chicago in 2019.Lindsay is a board-certified family nurse practitioner through the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners. She is a member of the Society for Pediatric Dermatology.Her clinical interests include acne vulgaris, atopic dermatitis and infantile hemangiomas.She chose to become a nurse practitioner because of an interest in the sciences and playing a role in improving people's health. She enjoys working with and treating children because make the day fun.Lindsay enjoys spending time with her family, strength training, and reading new and current research on pediatric dermatology.
