Michael Berneking, MD

Though he began his career as a primary care provider, Dr Michael Berneking has found his passion as an occupational medicine clinician. He enjoys that in this role, he gets to help both individuals and companies. “Occupational medicine comes with unique rewards and challenges that are not seen in any other specialty,” he explains. “Not only do I help treat my patients’ injury and/or illness, I also address the ways their environment and job impact their overall health and wellness.” Dr Berneking has a special interest in sleep medicine. This includes sleep disorders, fatigue, and its impact on the workplace – particularly in transportation.
