He completed his four-year orthopedic surgery residency at Catholic Medical Center of Brooklyn and Queens. His orthopedic training was completed by serving as the Senior Annie C. Kane Fellowship in Hip and Knee Reconstruction at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center. Dr. O'Connor worked as a teaching attending physician at Catholic Medical Center for 15 years, during which time he had the opportunity to share his orthopedic skills and knowledge with the generation of orthopedic surgeons. Dr. O'Connor is board certified in orthopedic surgery and a member of the American Academy of Orthopedics Surgeons, New York State Orthopedic Society, Brooklyn Orthopedic Society , and the Medical Society of the State of New York. He is fluent in English and Spanish.
