Ignatius Roger, MD - NewYork-Presbyterian Medical Group Queens-Orthopedics & Rehabilitation

Dr. Stern was born in Chicago Illinois but came to NYC a few months later and was raised in Greenwich village, New York. She graduated from the University of Chicago with an AB in 1986. She attended Medical school at NYU School of Medicine graduating in 1990. Internship, Residency and an additional year of Chief Residency were completed in 1994 at NYU Langone Medical Center/ Bellevue Hospital. She remained at NYU Langone Health to complete a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases in 1997 with a concentration in Echocardiography. She has been in clinical practice for the last twenty seven years at Murray Hill Medical Group PC/CareMount Medical Group/Optum. She has been taking care of patients in the primary care and hospital settings in a multi specialty group affiliated with NYU Langone Health. Since 1997 she had been on the faculty at NYU Langone Health as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. In addition to her clinical responsibilities she was the Medical Director of the ICAEL accredited non invasive testing suite at MHMG/CareMount/Optum. She is board certified in Cardiovascular Disease and Echocardiography.

Dr. Cynthia Arvizo is a Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgeon with expertise in the treatment of bleeding disorders, pelvic pain, and anatomic causes of infertility. She specializes in laparoscopic and hysteroscopic surgical approaches, including office hysteroscopy, for the management of fibroids, polyps, adenomyosis, ovarian cysts, uterine septa, scar tissue in the uterus, and endometriosis.Dr. Arvizo received her medical degree from Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine. She then completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Cleveland Clinic followed by a fellowship in Minimally Invasive Gynecologic Surgery at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. After her fellowship, she joined Jacobi Medical Center, one of the New York City Health and Hospitals, where she provided minimally invasive surgeries and started a gynecology quality improvement committee.Dr. Arvizo believes that every person deserves access to safe, high-quality gynecologic care. She sits on national quality improvement committees and has been invited to lecture on increasing access to minimally invasive gynecologic surgery. She is committed to discussing all surgical and non-surgical treatment options and tailoring care to the individual patient.

Emily Babiss, M.D. is a radiologist specializing in Breast Imaging. She is an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology at Weill Cornell Medicine and an Assistant Attending Radiologist at the NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine Campus.Dr. Babiss graduated from Rutgers New Jersey Medical School, Newark NJ, where she earned her M.D. in 2018. Following an internship at Englewood Health Medical Center, Dr. Babiss trained as a resident in at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital/Weill Cornell Medicine in 2023. In 2024 she completed her fellowship with Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York, NY.Dr. Babiss joined the faculty at Weill Cornell Medicine in September 2024 as an Assistant Professor of Clinical Radiology, as a member of Womens Imaging Division.
