History

Mica's was first started by the resort association and later was sold to Jack O'Connell. For 17 years Mr. O'Connell and his wife successfully ran the restaurant and expanded its menu to include mountain favorities as well as a full service Irish Pub. September 1st 2009, Mr. O'Connell and his wife Helen retired and found confidence in a local restaurant owner to take over the operation. Mica's is pronounced My Cuz. The restaurant was built over what used to be a Mica mine many years ago in the Sapphire Valley area.

We offer high quality products at a reasonable price. Family friendly atmosphere, fresh Carolina Trout, Slow Cooked Prime Rib, full selection of beverages including local, domestic and import draft beers.
