Stephen Warner, MD, is an associate professor of orthopedic surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. He is board certified and specializes in orthopedic trauma, with an emphasis on periarticular fractures of the upper and lower extremities, fractures of the pelvis and acetabulum, periprosthetic fractures, treatment of patients with polytrauma, and complications of fractures such as nonunions, malunions, and infections. Warner treats patients of all ages. Warner received his undergraduate degree from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He then worked for three years as a research associate for Bristol-Myers Squibb while also competing on the United States National and Olympic Rowing team. He attended medical school at Washington University in St. Louis, Missouri, where he also earned a PhD in Molecular and Cell Biology. He completed his orthopedic surgery residency at the Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical Center in New York, New York. He went on to complete a fellowship in orthopedic trauma at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.

Laura M. Goetzl, MD, MPH, is a board-certified and fellowship-trained maternal-fetal medicine specialist whose practice is primarily centered around prenatal diagnosis through ultrasound, amniocentesis, and chorionic villus sampling. She also cares for women with complicated pregnancies, such as women with diabetes or autoimmune conditions. Goetzl’s care model focuses on patient autonomy and informed decision-making.Shes a professor in the Department of Obstetrics, Gynecology and Reproductive Sciences at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston.Goetzl received her medical degree from the University of California, San Francisco, followed by her residency in obstetrics and gynecology at Brigham & Women’s Hospital and her Master of Public Health (MPH) degree from Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health. She is heavily involved in research into the effects of infection and medications/drugs on the developing fetal brain. One of her current grants focuses on the impact of marijuana during pregnancy on the structure of the fetal brain and on neurodevelopmental outcomes at age 2. Outside of work, she enjoys cooking, traveling, and time with her family.

Rehal Bhojani, MD, is a board-certified specialist providing personalized, comprehensive care in family and sports medicine for patients 6 and older. His services encompass concussion management, exercise prescription, chronic disease management, preventive care, musculoskeletal injury management, and injury prevention. Bhojani is an assistant professor in the Department of Orthopedic Surgery at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston. Additionally, he serves as program director of the Sports Medicine Fellowship at UTHealth Houston. Certified by the American Board of Family Medicine with a Certificate of Added Qualification in Sports Medicine, Bhojani is a Fellow of the American Academy of Family Physicians. He earned a Bachelor of Science in molecular and cellular biology from The University of Texas at Dallas and a Doctor of Medicine with Distinction in research from The University of Texas Southwestern Medical School in Dallas. His internship and residency training were completed at the Memorial Family Medicine Residency Program in Houston, where he served as chief resident. Bhojani completed fellowship training in primary care sports medicine at Henry Ford Hospital System in Detroit, Mich. Bhojani is the chief medical officer for the Houston Dynamo FC and Houston Dash. He’s a team physician for the Houston Rockets, the University of Houston, and East Bernard High School. He also oversees the Sports Medicine Outreach Program for Memorial Hermann Health System. Bhojani is a member of the American Medical Society for Sports Medicine, the American College of Sports Medicine, the American Academy of Family Physicians, and other medical associations. He has contributed to numerous journal articles and textbooks.
